I was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and moved many times while growing up, living in New Zealand, Australia, Colorado again, and Yuma, Arizona. I attended high school in Canyon, Texas and stayed in Canyon for college receiving my Bachelors degree in Animal Science from West Texas State University. I went on to graduate from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 1987. In July of that year I moved to Arkansas and worked as a relief veterinarian for several months before being hired by Dr. Bob McFarlin and moving to Greenbrier, Arkansas. After two years as an associate I purchased the clinic. I have practiced here from that time forward. I am happily married to Kathy, a retired special education consultant teacher. She now works at the clinic part-time. We have two beautiful and talented daughters. Kaitlyn is a travel nurse currently in Oregon. Amy is an elementary teacher in Colorado. We have 2 wonderful dogs that keeps us very busy. Church activities are important in my life and I have been blessed to be part of several mission activities both locally and around the world. I love any water sports, especially scuba diving and fly fishing. My family and I enjoy movies and outdoor activities such as camping throughout Arkansas. Kathy and I support Greenbrier athletics, but have focused on soccer and football.
I love the challenges and rewards of being a veterinarian. I love helping clients to have happy and healthy dogs and cats. I have spent approximately 30 years working here in the Greenbrier community. I am so thankful for all of your support for myself and my staff for all of these years. I am looking forward to continuing to serve you and your pets.
